tin ceiling

so our dining room ceiling has always had a bit of a peeling problem.  maybe because it's an old house, or the plaster, but we can't seem to get around it.  so my solution? tin ceiling tiles!  i love the look of them, and will probably paint them an off white.  i'm also considering wall paper that looks like tin tiles (much cheaper).

well, ankle straps and metallics are all the rage for summer sandals and here are few that are intriguing. i wanted to post my purchase from old navy (!) that were only $19.50 (!) but they are no longer for sale.  anthropologie has the best selection (top) but the worst resolution to post, the bottom 2 are steve madden, and gabriella rocha.

poppy time

i'm so excited... our poppies (my favorite flower of all time) are steadily growing and have multipied since last spring.  i think it's safe to say spring is finally here.

return addresses

i really need to find a nice stamp or sticker for return addresses.  i really like these.  these are actually business cards, but you get the picture.  they are a little hard to read... do you think the postman minds? i never get things sent back to me anyway. they just get lost.
